Projects undertaken include:

Stanton Elementary School, Washington DC

FES was commissioned to design and construct a deep foundation system as part of the renovation of Stanton Elementary School, when the original building was extended by 35,525 ft² (3300 m²) to include a 1-3 storey structure. Initial proposals had been for the structures to be supported on spread footings of 5-15 feet below existing grades, but FES designed a more cost-effective solution based on the use of helical piles.
