Experimentarium

The Experimentarium science and technology museum was scheduled to undergo extensive renovation work which would double the exhibition area to 11,500 m². CCL Fundering’s scope of work involved installing drilled pad foundations in dimensions from Ø800 mm to Ø1200 mm, for new concrete structures in 350 well foundations, and a total of 950 no. Ø219 mm drilled mini piles for new structures within the original building.

Færgekroen

CCL Fundering has completed many foundation jobs in the Tivoli Amusement Park. Many of the famous attractions in the park rest on piles that have been installed by the company. CCL Fundering has installed Ø114 mm mini piles for an extension and the securing of an outdoor balcony area to the Færgekroen restaurant where the company has carried out work on several occasions using its specialised custom-made equipment. It also undertook foundation and forging work using drilled steel sections and extensions creating a new excavation pit for a generator.

Medical Museion

The Medical Museion at Bredgade in Copenhagen was affected by serious flooding which caused critical damage to the foundations and floors of the structure. CCL Fundering was hired, in cooperation with EKJ A/S, as the main contractor for the project which involved excavation, concreting, moisture control and foundation work. The company installed drilled mini piles for new cover structures, perimeter drains, horizontal moisture control and cast new concrete slabs.
